Chef Tip: To prepare turmeric for juicing, clean the root well with fresh, clean water. If using a cold press juicer like the Slowstar, it’s not necessary to remove the skin which contains many trace minerals that support your health. Once cleaned, refrigerate until ready to juice.
Turmeric Sunshine Juice
2 inches fresh turmeric root
4 carrots
1 orange, skin removed
Spicy Turmeric Juice
2 inches fresh turmeric root
1 inch fresh ginger root
1 red bell pepper, stemmed and de-seeded
2 stalks celery
1 green apple
Directions
- Prepare your ingredients.
- As you are juicing, alternate between each ingredient.
- Serve and enjoy! You can juice your Turmeric in advance if using a cold press juicer. In this case, we recommend storing it in an airtight mason jar for up to 3 days.
